It makes me so sad when so many “fashion forward” travelers come to Italy and only stop at these brands, which are far from quality and heritage! When there are so many incredible independent artisans that will produce better quality at understandable prices.

It’s appalling that such well known brands are allowed to act so irresponsibly, damaging the heritage and character of a country full of craftsman. ‘Made in Italy’ is of the highest order ♥️

And it is crazy how it has become a repeated pattern yet it seems like every time these brands are “caught” it is simply swept under the rug! At the same time though each brand’s/parent company of board of directors has so much power/money.
